Llamas and Alpacas

Medicine and Surgery

Wellness evaluations

Annual exams and herd evaluations.

Vaccinations

Just like all other species, vaccinations help prevent disease. In Florida, Llamas and Alpacas are under stress from the heat which makes them more susceptible to disease, so an adequate vaccination protocol is important.

Surgical Castration

Unless if used for breeding, males should be castrated.
